Kristin speaks to business leaders on how to facilitate and lead teams. As one of the first female graduates of the United States Coast Guard Academy and the first woman stationed onboard an ocean-going buoy tender, Kristin became one of the first Coast Guard facilitators—and made every mistake one could! Frustrated, she avidly researched this nascent skill called “facilitation” and has trained professionals in facilitation skills ever since. She is a past national president of the National Speakers Association, a Certified Speaking Professional, and a Certified Professional Facilitator.
As President and CEO of The Bob Pike Group, Becky has more than 17 years of exposure to Bob Pike’s Creative Training Techniques®. 15 of those years she spent as a training professional and wrote two best-selling books, 101 Movie Clips that Teach and Train, and Webinars with WOW Factor. She has helped many Bob Pike Group clients including Target Corporation, Bose, Coca-Cola, Wells Fargo and more realize cost savings and training efficiencies through utilizing a participant-centered approach. Becky was named one of Training Magazine’s Top 40 Under 40 in 2012. She believes that continuing education, whether formal or informal, is critical for those of us in education.
Recognized as a top international and national training professional, Doug is one of the original Creative Training Techniques® trainers alongside Bob Pike. He has conducted workshops and training for more than 65,000 trainers, teachers and corporate leaders and given more than 150 keynote addresses. He has also developed various seminars and co-authored training programs and books. Doug’s professional career expands across sales, public schools and university teaching, industrial consulting, public speaking and counseling. He has worked with BPG clients like the University of Nebraska, Stanford, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cabela’s, Nationwide Insurance, the United States Military and more.
Scott has more than a decade of training experience in corporate, nonprofit and government sectors. He has the ability to transform complex processes and information into actionable steps that can help organizations move toward a more productive environment. His specialties include training management, training design and training across cultures. At The Bob Pike Group, Scott has worked with clients such as Hospira, United States Air Force, Minnesota National Guard and Morris Material Handling.
Janice is an advocate for positive change. She is always looking to take something good and make it exceptional. She has more than 25 years of corporate supervisory and executive management experience. She thrives in training retail, financial and government agencies where she brings a wealth of strategic, organizational and people skills to help these individuals and companies filter through mere activity and focus on results-based actions.
Passionate about performance improvement, Michelle functions as a catalyst for sales teams and individuals to sharpen their skills in interpersonal communication, leadership development, change management and diversity/inclusion. Before joining The Bob Pike Group, Michelle worked in learning and development for General Mills. There she led instructional design and facilitation for corporate sales, new hire and intern training courses. Michelle is also a member of the Association for Talent Development and is a certified behavioral specialist.
After 19 years in the classroom, Adrianne’s passion for learner centered excellence took her to the Professional Development Alliance in Illinois where she was responsible for all aspects of designing and delivering engaging training programs in a variety of subject areas. Adrianne is now a training consultant for The Bob Pike Group helping presenters overcome their fears and succeed as public speakers. Some of her clients include Shell Global Solutions, Chicago City Colleges, University of Minnesota, and Los Angeles Unified School District. She is also currently an adjunct instructor for graduate-level courses at Aurora University and Waubonsee Community College in Aurora, IL.
Rich has been a participant-centered trainer with The Bob Pike Group and other Train-the-Trainer organizations for more than 25 years. At BPG, he facilitates Powerful Presentations, Effective Facilitation and Meeting Skills, and Coaching for Success workshops. He has also designed and taught numerous workshops to more than 65,000 trainers and leaders worldwide. Prior to becoming a senior training consultant at The Bob Pike Group, Rich held executive positions at Personal Dynamics Institute and Carlson Learning Company. Rich is author and co-author of five books including Coaching for Results and SCORE: Super Closers, Openers, Reviews and Energizers for Enhanced Results.
Erin attended her first Bob Pike Group conference years ago and was immediately transformed as a trainer. The Instructor-Led Participant-Centered model took the “it’s not about me, it’s about you” idea to a new level. Ever since then, Erin has been passionate about transforming the classroom and virtual classroom into places learners want to participate in their own learning and have fun at the same time. Before joining BPG, Erin spent over a decade specializing in technical and online learning. She created and presented classroom training and online courses for major television programs, Fortune 500 Companies, government agencies and prestigious universities.
With more than 25 years of experience in vocational education, Marc has delivered training to more than 10,000 students, conducted more than 300 certificate IV courses, and presented workshops in 12 countries. In addition to being selected to the 2009 list of “Top 10 Young Trainers of the Year” by US Training Magazine, Marc has received multiple outstanding leadership awards, including the coveted 2017 “Best Training and Development Leadership” Award at the World Training and Development Congress in Mumbai, India.
As a participant-centered facilitator, workshop creator, and dynamic trainer, Jason knows how to achieve results, whether it’s communication, coaching, or management training, or a corporate environment specializing in sales. He was selected as MRWED’s “Trainer of the Year” twice, named the “Best Young Trainer of the Year” in 2011, and listed as a 2012 up-and-coming training leader by US Training Magazine.
Pat was a founder member of IBM's consulting business. During her time there, they grew from 10 to 30,000 consultants and Pat learned a lot about how to break through the glass ceilings at each stage of growth. Today as a performance consultant and strategic advisor, Pat helps businesses and teams break through their own glass ceilings in a wide variety of professional services firms. By coming along leaders with a tool-kit and calm assurance she helps them build equity value without burning stomach acid.
