What safety protocols are in place for this event?

This event will comply with all local safety protocols. Expect extra personal space and individual materials. The hotel is following industry standard practices for safe food service and cleaning procedures. Attendees will indicate by color lanyard their comfort level around handshakes and closeness. Vaccines and masks are recommended for the immunocompromised but not required.

How should I dress?

Layers are key. Minnesota weather is beautiful in September but hotel ballrooms can run warm or chilly. Work casual attire is appropriate.

Are the sessions available online?

Every session is live, in person. Sessions are not recorded.

What meals are included at the Conference?

Three buffet style breakfasts, two lunches, and an evening networking reception with heavy appetizers and drinks are included with your registration. The hotel also offers onsite dining and free shuttle service to the Mall of America.

Are there discounts available?

Yes! Discounts for K-12 educators, GSA/military, and groups of three or more are available. Or save $200 on a pre-conference workshop when you bundle with the conference, and $200 as an early bird when you register before June 30.

Do I need to bring a personal device to sessions?

Only if the session description specifies. Otherwise all materials are provided.

How does certification work?

When you combine a pre-conference workshop with your conference registration, you are eligible to earn professional certification. Follow your preferred certification track indicated by session icons and complete a short knowledge assessment at the end of the week and you'll earn your digital badge to show the world your skills and expertise. You may add certification at checkout or upon arrival before the conference begins.

What's a learning team?

A distinction of this event is your participation on a learning team. These are short, structured breakouts to give you greater personal access to presenters and network with industry peers. It's an introvert friendly, extrovert appreciated way to share learning takeaways.

What else is there to do after sessions?
